La enseñanza de danzas andinas para piano dirigido a niños entre 11 y 14 años de la Casa de la cultura de Chía, Cundinamarca

This work takes as an object of study the Andina music of Colombia, specifically the piano dances composed to be performed by children of initial courses who are in the exploration phase of the instrument and repertoire. Therefore , it is proposed a methodology aimed at the implementation of playful activities, exercises and studies prior to the performance of the piece, and a selection of works of colombian adina music based on the abilities of the students of the Casa de la Cultura de Chía, Cundinamarca, who are at a Basic Level with ages between 11 and 14 years old. The proposal develops an approach to the creation of a future method for piano with colombian rhythms addressed to the initial students, for which the existing material is used, a selection of playful activities, exercises, studies and works that approximate the level is made. of the student who is interpreting pieces similar to those compiled in the Suzuki method (level 2 and 3). The incorporation of a methodology designed for children is an invitation for musicians, pianists and pedagogues to compose works with Colombian flair and to be guided and complemented by playful activities that maintain the child’s interest in traditional music.
