El “pintor de la danza bastetana” de la ciudad ibérica prerromana de Edeta (Liria, Valencia): estilo y taller

In the last three decades, systematization of signs, pictorial resources, compositions and themes of Iberian pre-roman painted pottery allowed us to define styles and workshops. Also painters, although to a lesser extent. Going down to the distinctive details of friezes and scenes, adapting the experience of Greek ceramics, has been fundamental and has opened another way for cataloguing, dating, analyzing influences and organizing workshops. This issue is presented here with an example of the ancient city of Edeta, around 200 BC, through the characterization of one of its painters. Some implications on the circulation and contexts of his images are also outlined.
